Page settings control one page: its title, address, search description, social image, and access rules.

Open Settings, then Pages, and select a page.
The page title appears in the browser tab and in search results. It also feeds the project's title template.
The page URL is the part after your domain. Keep it short and readable: about, pricing, contact. Avoid dates and version numbers unless the page is about a specific release.
If you change the URL, internal links keep working because they point at the page. Links from other sites to the old address will not.
The description is the summary shown under the title in search results and in some social previews.
Write one or two clear sentences about the page. Around 155 characters is a good target. Do not stuff it with keywords; describe what the page offers.
The search preview under the fields shows roughly how it will look.
The social image appears when the page is shared on social media or in a chat app. If the page has no image, the project's default social image is used.
Use a wide image, around 1200 by 630 pixels. Put the page title or a clear visual in the safe center area.
If the site has more than one language, a language selector appears in page settings. Choose a language to edit its title, description, and social image.
The default language uses the page's own values. Other languages can override them. This lets a translated page have a translated title in search results.
Read Translations for the content side.
Choose Make home page to serve this page at your domain root.
The current home page keeps its content but gets a new address. The page you chose becomes the home page.
The home page cannot be deleted while it is the home page.
The 404 page is served for addresses that do not exist. You can edit its title and content, but it cannot be made the home page or the sign-in page.
It does not count toward your plan's page limit.
Pages created by a collection have a managed URL. The address comes from the collection slug and the item slug, so the URL field is not editable here.
Use the collection settings to change the collection slug, or edit the item to change its slug.
Turn on Requires login to show the page only to signed-in end users. Signed-out visitors are sent to the project's sign-in page.
This requires Users & Login to be on and a sign-in page to be set. Without a sign-in page, locked visitors have nowhere to go.
The sign-in page itself is always public.
Choose Set as sign-in page on the page that holds the sign-in form. This is the page visitors are sent to when a page requires login.
You only need one sign-in page per project.
Choose Delete page. You will be asked to type the page title or URL to confirm.
The page is removed from the working copy. The live site keeps serving the last published version until you publish again.
For an About page:
Set the title to "About".
Set the URL to about.
Write a one or two sentence description.
Add a social image or use the project default.
Save.
Publish the page.
Then open the live page and check the browser tab title and the search preview.
Read Search and sharing for the wider checklist.
