Project settings control the things that apply to the whole site: its name, search defaults, language, time zone, and custom code.

Open Settings, then Project settings, then General.
The project name is for you and your team. It appears in the Projects list and the editor.
The favicon is the small icon in the browser tab and in bookmarks. Upload a square image, usually 512 by 512 pixels. A simple mark works better than a detailed logo at that size.
The description is the site's default summary for search results and social sharing. A page can override it.
The social image is the default image shown when a page is shared and has no image of its own. Use a wide image, around 1200 by 630 pixels, with the site name or a clear visual.
The title template controls how page titles appear in the browser tab and search results.
It supports two tokens:
$title is the page title.
$site is the site name.
A common template is $title | $site. A page called "About" on a site called "Clay Studio" becomes "About | Clay Studio".
Leave the template empty if you want page titles to stand alone.
Add the languages your site is published in. One language is the default.
Each non-default language gets its own address prefix, such as /es/about. The default language stays at the root.
Changing the default language changes which version opens at the root. It does not translate content by itself.
Read Translations for the content workflow.
The time zone sets when an analytics day starts. It does not change the time visitors see.
Choose the zone where you think about your business day. If most of your visitors are in one country, use that country's zone.
Changing the zone only affects events recorded after the change.
Turn analytics on or off here. When it is on, Remake records visits without cookies.

Choose how search engines treat the site:
Allow indexing invites search engines to list the site.
Discourage indexing asks them not to. Use this for a staging site or a private project.
Custom robots.txt lets you provide your own rules.
Discouraging indexing is a request, not a guarantee. A search engine may still list a page if other sites link to it.
The advanced section lets you add code to the head or body of every page. This is for analytics, verification tags, chat widgets, and similar tools.
Only add code from a source you trust. A broken script can slow down or break the whole site. If something stops working after adding code, remove it first.
Save stores the settings in the working copy. They go live with the next publish.
Save & go live applies the settings to the live site immediately. Use it for small changes such as a new favicon or an updated description.
Set the project name and favicon.
Write a one or two sentence description.
Add a social image.
Set the title template to $title | $site.
Choose the time zone.
Turn on analytics if you want visitor data.
Leave search engines on Allow indexing unless this is a private site.
Save, then publish.
