Accordion and carousel are interactive blocks. They save space by hiding content until the visitor asks for it, or by letting them move through a set of panels.

Use them when the interaction helps. Do not use them just because they look clever.
An accordion is a list of items that open and close. It is good for FAQs, long feature lists, and details that most visitors do not need at once.
Add an Accordion block, then open the Accordion tab. Add items and give each one a title. Put the content inside the item.
One at a time closes the open item when another opens.
All at once lets several items stay open.
Default open chooses which item starts open, or none.
Open icon and Close icon change the symbols.
Animate adds a smooth open and close.
For an FAQ, one at a time keeps the page tidy. For a set of instructions, all at once may be better because people can compare steps.
The title is the only thing a visitor sees before opening the item. Make it a real question or a clear label: "How long does shipping take?" is better than "Shipping".
A carousel shows a set of screens one page at a time. It is useful for testimonials, image galleries, and short feature tours.
Add a Carousel block, then open the Carousel tab. Add screens and put content inside each one.
Screens sets how many screens show at once, from 1 to 5.
Arrows and Dots control the navigation.
Arrow icon changes the arrow symbol.
Reorder screens changes their order.
With more than one screen visible, the carousel pages through groups. A carousel showing three cards at a time moves three cards per step.
Each screen is a normal block, so you can put a heading, image, button, or even a row inside it. Keep each screen simple. A carousel is for a quick scan, not a full page.
On a phone, a carousel with several screens at once may feel cramped. Switch to Mobile portrait and reduce the screens per view, or use one screen at a time.
Check that the arrows and dots are easy to tap and do not cover the content.
Do not put essential information only in an accordion that is closed by default.
Make sure the carousel can be used without a mouse.
Do not autoplay content that moves too fast to read.
Keep the arrow and dot controls visible against the background.
Carousels do not autoplay. They move when the visitor uses the arrows or dots.
