Users and login lets visitors create accounts on your published site. You can then show member-only pages, personalize content, and build sign-up forms.

End users are not Remake accounts. They cannot open the editor or see your project. They only exist on your published site.
Open Settings, then Users & Login, and choose Enable users.
This creates a Users collection in the Database area. Each account becomes an item there, with a name, email, and any custom fields you add.
You can add fields such as a plan, a company, or a phone number. You can edit profile values from the Database area. You never see passwords, sessions, or verification codes.
Visitors can sign up and sign in with an email address and password.
Options:
Allow sign-ups can be turned off to keep existing accounts but block new ones.
Require email verification asks new accounts to confirm their address before signing in.
Email verification and password reset need transactional email to be configured. When RESEND_API_KEY and EMAIL_FROM are set, the links are emailed. Until then, no email is sent, so do not require verification on a public site.
You can turn on providers such as Google, Apple, Facebook, Discord, GitHub, Microsoft, TikTok, and X.
Each provider needs credentials from its developer console and a callback URL. The settings page shows the callback URL to register, usually:
https://your-domain/_auth/callback/provider
Credentials never go through Remy. You enter them yourself in the settings.
Create a page with a form, set the form's action to Sign in, and then open page settings and choose Set as sign-in page.
You can add sign-up, log-out, and forgot-password forms too. Each uses its own action.
Open the page settings and turn on Requires login. Signed-out visitors are sent to the sign-in page.
The sign-in page itself is always public.
Use a Condition block to show content only when a current user exists. Add a second condition for signed-out visitors with a sign-in link.
You can also show the current user's name or email with a variable.
Read Variables and conditions for the rules.
End users count toward your plan's CMS item limit, along with published CMS items. A project can reach its limit through sign-ups.
When the limit is reached, new sign-ups are blocked and the visitor sees the account limit message.
Choosing Turn off users disables sign-in and removes the Users collection from the Database view. Turn it on again to manage accounts.
If you only want to stop new accounts, turn off Allow sign-ups instead. Existing users can still sign in.
For a member area:
Turn on Users & Login.
Create a sign-in page with a sign-in form.
Create a sign-up page with a sign-up form.
Set the sign-in page in page settings.
Create a members page and turn on Requires login.
Add a Condition block so signed-in visitors see a welcome message with their name.
Add a log-out form to the header.
Test with a real account on the published site.
Read Forms for the form actions, and Translations for translating account messages.
